The more I read about Magnesium, the more important it seems to be. Even had an MD friend, who is not into all this diet stuff, tell me she considers it to be an important supplement. (I do know she does hundreds of sit-ups daily, so she is a little fitness oriented.) Even standard recommendations are for increased amounts as one gets older.
Again, I am also asking myself how many minerals are in the Big-Ag food we buy. I have read that the number could be as low as 50% of what it was 75 years ago. That would make all nutrients/ minerals endangered and strongly suggest supplementation.
